One of the things I get a kick out of is that as we cover social media (and the Internet in general), we are also engaged in that very space, trying to figure out its relevance to what we do behind the studio glass.
To wit: Wednesday’s On Point program featured Vanessa Grigoriadis, author of “Do You Own Facebook? Or Does Facebook Own You?” published in New York magazine, and BJ Fogg, director of the Persuasive Technology Lab at Stanford University and author of the forthcoming book “The Psychology of Facebook.”
Having jumped into the Twitterverse, the On Point team is now giving Facebook a whirl. There have been a couple of misfires so far, but who hasn’t made a stumble or two during their own social media journey? I know I certainly have. I salute their willingness to experiment in the social media space.
They need your help, though. Please become a fan and offer some constructive criticism and tips. Right this way, folks.
